I love Marina and Discovery Town! Marina is so warm and genuinely cares for the kids and treats them as her own. There is great communication and I often get photos and videos that show how much fun my son is having there! Marina and Dora take such good care of the kids and are so kind. My son absolutely adores them and always has big smiles and waves when he sees them in the morning. He started at a year old and Marina easily helped him and I transition into a new place. She is always flexible and understanding when we have changes to our weekly schedule.Discovery Town is such a nice facility. It's newly remodeled, bright and very clean and inviting. There is a variety of toys and books in excellent condition and a kitchen and train table for the kids to play with. Marina plays music every day and the kids love to play instruments and dance. There is also a great outdoor play space on the back deck, where the kids get to spend time in the mornings and afternoons.Marina cooks amazing local and organic food for the kids that my son can't get enough of. He is so lucky and loves her cooking! He eats breakfast and lunch there as well as lots of yummy snacks each day. I get updates on how much he's eaten when I pick him up ;) We feel so fortunate to have found Marina and Discovery Town. We couldn't be happier and really feel like it's a home away from home for our lil one!!  Read Less

Let's start with the positive points about Discoveryland younger section [under 2 years old]:- Marina and her helper are caring.- Good capability to communicate during the day or debrief at the end of the day.- Flexibility in the pick-up hours within reasons which can matter when both parents aren't working 9-5.- Outside deck with toys which means a daily routine around outside playtime. Even if the Sunset with less sun, still a good habit.- 2 meals a day are included (breakfast & lunch) and yet the price is lower compared to more centrally located daycares that only serve 1 meal (about 15% less).But, as often, there is a "price" to be under market prices:- Marina's helper doesn't speak English. Both my wife and I have accents but in this case, it's only a few words at best which means she can't read to the kids (in English) for example.- No real curriculum (for younger ones / under 2 years old) compared to other daycares who have a daily plan of activities and a progression.- And the real sore point is the lack of a real "parent community" or parent day leading to situations where, as a parent, you don't know if you can trust that a communication about a sensitive topic was really shared to all the others parents (we needed all the kids to take an anti-pinworm medicine at once).Again, this is not a review for the older section run by Lina where my friends had their kid for 2 years and were very happy with it.Now, we are at LadyBugs and very happy with it.  Read Less
