Chris contacted carnival on my behalf and before we left port was able to not only get us the offer of a new room but was able to get carnival to partially reimburse us for the inconvenience and provide us with a bottle of champagne for dinner and a few other treats where my girlfriend and i were only able to get a couple free drinks offered to us as compensation on our own from guest services
