{"reviewer_id":"A1E131F3EFB4058DDB82FBCE38C54A9D","reviewer_name":"Teamtsang","review_text":"We stayed here, for one night, for our honeymoon in the 90 sq metre room with the private bath (onsen). Their website does not do this place justice. This ryokan is spectacular with a lovely interior decor and plenty of viewing points to see the lake and Mt. Fuji. Furthermore there is a lovely Japanese styled garden. The room itself was truly unique. In addition to being vast (it even had its own rock garden courtyard for its entrance and two lounges) the traditional styled room offered a peaceful setting to relax in the private onsen whilst overlooking Mt. Fuji. One of the many highlights of this stay was seeing Mt. Fuji during the different times of day (Sunrise, early morning, sunset etc).\n\nFrom arrival to checkout the service at this relaxing ryokan was exceptional. We were greeted by Asami san, on the front desk, who offered green tea and traditional sweets upon arrival and a helpful explanation of the ryokan's services. Asami san was also very thoughtful in that she tracked me down and provided larger slippers (without me asking for them) after she noticed the default slippers were a little too tight for me. Also the service at dinner \u0026 breakfast was brilliant. After being greeted by the dining room staff, we were served by Yuka san who took the time to explain each element of the meal. With regards to the food it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals (dinner and breakfast) that we had during our entire stay in Japan.\n\nWe can't wait to go back here again.","review_rating":5.0,"sentiment_class":"positive","sentiment_result":0.8638504494117646,"sentiment_breakdown":[["We stayed here, for one night, for our honeymoon in the 90 sq metre room with the private bath (onsen).",["positive",0.9783958]],["Their website does not do this place justice.",["negative",0.09202174]],["This ryokan is spectacular with a lovely interior decor and plenty of viewing points to see the lake and Mt.",["positive",0.98409826]],["Fuji.",["positive",0.8177338]],["Furthermore there is a lovely Japanese styled garden.",["unknown",0.7002575]],["The room itself was truly unique.",["positive",0.94035816]],["In addition to being vast (it even had its own rock garden courtyard for its entrance and two lounges) the traditional styled room offered a peaceful setting to relax in the private onsen whilst overlooking Mt.",["positive",0.94370353]],["Fuji.",["positive",0.8177338]],["One of the many highlights of this stay was seeing Mt.",["positive",0.8547356]],["Fuji during the different times of day (Sunrise, early morning, sunset etc).",["positive",0.9451281]],["From arrival to checkout the service at this relaxing ryokan was exceptional.",["positive",0.9123848]],["We were greeted by Asami san, on the front desk, who offered green tea and traditional sweets upon arrival and a helpful explanation of the ryokan's services.",["positive",0.9468547]],["Asami san was also very thoughtful in that she tracked me down and provided larger slippers (without me asking for them) after she noticed the default slippers were a little too tight for me.",["positive",0.97404885]],["Also the service at dinner \u0026 breakfast was brilliant.",["positive",0.86388594]],["After being greeted by the dining room staff, we were served by Yuka san who took the time to explain each element of the meal.",["positive",0.9357816]],["With regards to the food it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals (dinner and breakfast) that we had during our entire stay in Japan.",["positive",0.9935688]],["We can't wait to go back here again.",["positive",0.98476666]]],"reviewer_fake_points":45}

{"reviewer_id":"F929D093A4E4565C309B1ACC6B6412E0","reviewer_name":"David S","review_text":"Not the easiest of arrivals (shuttle bus had limited times so got a taxi for the short journey from the station instead), but a very classy stay throughout after that. Our room had outstanding views of Mt Fuji across Lake Kawaguchi, and good facilities, but the real highlight was the dining. Stayed two nights and had great dinner and breakfast each day, Japanese-style but with staff able to recognise dietary needs (no shellfish for one) helped by one of our family speaking Japanese. The onsen was spacious, with several different opportunities, including outdoor with Fuji views. It’s worth getting up early just to check the cloud cover - we had two great sightshows of the mountain before cloud rolled in later in the day. Overall, I’d thoroughly recommend for the views and the cultural experience.","review_rating":5.0,"sentiment_class":"positive","sentiment_result":0.9094397433333334,"sentiment_breakdown":[["Not the easiest of arrivals (shuttle bus had limited times so got a taxi for the short journey from the station instead), but a very classy stay throughout after that.",["positive",0.96046984]],["Our room had outstanding views of Mt Fuji across Lake Kawaguchi, and good facilities, but the real highlight was the dining.",["positive",0.8917553]],["Stayed two nights and had great dinner and breakfast each day, Japanese-style but with staff able to recognise dietary needs (no shellfish for one) helped by one of our family speaking Japanese.",["positive",0.9918549]],["The onsen was spacious, with several different opportunities, including outdoor with Fuji views.",["positive",0.83573025]],["It’s worth getting up early just to check the cloud cover - we had two great sightshows of the mountain before cloud rolled in later in the day.",["positive",0.88320947]],["Overall, I’d thoroughly recommend for the views and the cultural experience.",["positive",0.8936187]]],"reviewer_fake_points":-15}

We booked a ordinary room for two persons without private hot spring for JPY 70000 per night, with Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Later we have one more friend stay with us and the hotel requires extra fee for one more person, when we check out, we found extra fee is JPY33000, which is 50% of original price, for just one more futon on tatami! That said we paid JPY 100k for their cheapest room! And the food is way more disappointed, every dish tasted worse than average Japan restaurant level, can’t believe they call this BBQ dinner as kaiseki. The most disappointing thing is, no material service at all, they don’t drive us to bus station which is only 5 mins drive. We have some luggages with us and they told us to take public transportation to get bus station, while I saw three of hotel cars parking outside. We spent nearly $1000 per night here but they offer no help!!
