nnThe experience was nothing short of amazing The structures are beautifully updated in a first class manner All bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds There was plenty of room to spread out with big dining areas huge tables and a peaceful breakfast area in the front courtyard The climate control though not much required on this trip was an added bonus as were the the modern bathrooms in each suite The WiFi worked perfectly throughout the weeknnThe photos do not do the grounds justice The entire property is landscaped and maintained immaculately The main pool area is largely secluded and separate from the living spaces making the time spent there feel more like an expensive resort nnThe views are splendid from this location Cordona just a 30 minute ride sparkles in the distance off to the east To the south Montepulciano can be seen just as easily from our hilltop There is outlet shopping Valdichiana Outlet Village close by 5 mins and a cozy ample market in the town of Bettolle which we walked to in 15 mins A daytrip to Sienna was 45 minutes each way and on a quick daytrip we visited several wineries with ease There is an excellent casual restaurant LaBandita just 200 yards from the front gate The food was delicious and although its a tiny place they handled our group of 14 with no problem Another bonus for our group Florence airport was only 1 hour 10 mins away This is a fantastic location for easily covering a lot of areas in TuscanynnBy far the most engaging aspect of our weeklong stay was our happy and gracious host Gianluca Gianluca was extremely helpful and highenergy in a very funny way He restored this property over many years and loves what he does Gianluca had all the right connections to make just about any event or daytrip possible He was ready to offer numerous tips to save our group time and money Our lovely host was able to arrange 2 special birthday celebrations including a pizza party and DJ as well as a number of rides to pick up guests tofrom Florence and Rome He also assisted in coordinating a chartered day trip for the group to visit Pienza highly recommend and several wineries Meals were delicious effortless and contained fresh local fare The house and kitchen were immaculate We opted for a light daily breakfast and a few meals and we were able to throw together a few light lunches and use the kitchen from timetotime However good to note that they prefer to utilize their excellent chefs for largerscale meals nnGianluca was wonderful and the immense pride he shows in his property is obvious
