An awesome first speak-eazy experience!Go online to Yelp and make a reservation. 24 hours before your reservation, receive a secret passcode. Venture into the Tenderloin and find a quaint wooden door, mysteriously supplemented by a 21st century doorbell. Buzz in and be greeted by a friendly hipster guy who asks, "what's the password". You reply "KillJoy"....he nods in affirmation and motions the way into a dark room lit by a few yellow luminescent lamps scattered around. Hold your friend's hand as you're led to the back of the room, stumbling a bit across the stairs because it's so dark. Sit comfortably around a wooden table (clearly there's a wood theme going on), and open the menu, which is literally a binder. Order your drinks and speak easy.This was my first time at a speak easy and I absolutely loved it. My friends and I ordered 3 cocktails: cucumber gimlet, egg white peach whiskey, and some other whiskey smash with pineapple liqueur. They were all so good and reasonably priced. Service was awesome - didn't mind the 4 of us only ordered 3 drinks and made sure we were always hydrated.Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back!  Read Less
