The price is a little high so i wanted to be certain that it was something i could see myself utilizing day in and day out

This g7x has a very fast lens and great performance

Great camera i did just drop it and it instantly cracked the screen
That being said ive found the perfect camera for my needs in the g7x mark ii

Personally i believe this camera blows its competition out of the water
Nice that is has a selfie mode
I bought the first version of this camera but the images were way too soft for my tastes ended up with an rx100 mk iii instead

If you prefer an actual viewfinder then the g5x is the camera for you

Also as a side note this camera works for my needs for low light indoor action shots my sons basketball games but any compact camera like this has limited focusing capabilities in such a setting you wont get the same results as a true dslr in that type situation

I think the major one is and this seems to be an issue on both the g7x and the rx100 series cameras is that dust can easily get inside the lens

Even though the camera has a builtin automatic lens cap it does a poor job at keeping dust and other particles out
