I have a couple of canon 580ex flashes but they are not compatible with my 7d

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

    You can trigger this flash with a 622 622tx 560tx or a 603

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

With the 603 you can only trigger the flash itself

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

In other words if the trigger can or cant do it then you can or cant do it with this flash

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

That being said however if you have a standard 622c trigger it will still perform the same functions you just have to use the control in your camera menu to do it

Been using dslr cameras for 3 years now and thought it was time to jump into wireless flash photography

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I also uploaded a picture i took outside testing out backlighting and front lightingconsa minor cosmetic con the select button in the middle of the wheel is loose and flimsy the button flipped upside down doesnt seem to effect the flash but cosmetically it made it look and feel cheap

Good flash has all the built in wireless bells and whistles but i took one star off for no optical slave mode which the product description does not make clear
