Pros

Flash works great and doesn't * battery power like some of the brand name flashes. The battery door fit is finicky so you have to move it around a bit to find the niche to close it. It works fully manual mode, which is perfect for me.

Cons

Canon speed lights are mega expensive. I see no reason to buy a yn-560 iii any more. The canon equivalents are too pricey for me right now.

When powering on they sometimes fail to start up. This makes it a total of 6 flashes that have lost output power. Have tried brand new batteries, and see nothimg visably wrong with it. One of them only flashes at full power.

It has no scratches and looks brand new, except for the fact that it does not work at all. When working it's a great setup but less than 2 months of use is not good.

The quality of build is superbthe light is very powerfulit has everything one would want in a manual flash

I bought 2 for portrait work and am very satisfied with the quality of this flash

I’ve read the other reviews and have noticed that the build quality is nothing like my canon fuji or nikon flashes

Other than the fact they quit working be sure to have a few in case one breaks down they are a great product

Price

I have two canon flashes but this yongnuo is easier to work with and the price is really good

For the price you can’t beat it

Packaging/appearance

If and when any of the units fail i will purchase the yongnuo flashes in a heartbeat without hesitation

All in all i would definitely recommend yongnuo flashes

I use them in a variety of modifiers and i also use two together in a couple of large softboxes

No need to spend hundreds of dollars on nikon and canon brand
