Pros & Cons

Pros

These are a steal. They are sturdy and work well. The product is cheap but not cheaply made.

Yongnuo rf-603 n1 has great distance range. As a camera remote release it works perfectly and reliable. It slides smoothly into the shoe, and slides right back out if you move.

Yongnuo wireless flash triggers are rugged and fire just like the big boy toys that cost $150 each! These are a fantastic bargain compared to the pw class of triggers, which do more than i want done, or want to pay for. They come packaged with a cord ...  Read More

They can be used as either the transmitter or the receiver. I only wish they had some sort of keyring loop for attaching a mini-carabiner so that they can be clipped onto something instead of swinging down from my handlemount flash head.

The on/off toggle can be a bit difficult to reach when mounted to the flash on a light stand, but for the low price, a simple workaround is worth the time. This makes it easy to run down your battery.

Cons

This is a huge issue when trying to meter lights. You can't trigger them manually because they are too far away.

Price

Cant complain the price was great good value

I likeits reliability and most of all the price

Unless you already have those pricey ittl triggers that cost you a fortune in which case you wouldnt have read this far anyway

Competitiveness

These triggers work just as well as the more expensive competition they are simple to use and they work

These work great with my yongnuo yn560ii flash unit and nikon d200

It replaced a more expensive vivitar product that was only a remote shutter release and stopped working after a few months

The fact that they add one additional feature above their competition at the same price point is a big draw for me
