This thing is bananas! This thing is incredible. A pleasure to operate.
The manual says, hover the blade. It takes a little bit of skill to use, but a normal person should be able to learn to use this device in a couple of minute.

Cons
Cold steel san mai kukri is one of the most disappointing purchases i have made in recent memory.
Many of the bolts used to tighten various adjustments in the system are made of cheep plastic. As a result, it throws the belt off before it can even rotate once all the way through. After a few weeks of using the tighten screw broke.

Opened the box attached the unit and had 5 extra sharp blades including two that had chips in under two hours

You can get the same results from a lansky system or any number of other products on the market
