I found one of the two oil coolers on my car was running at a much lower temperature than the other one suggesting a fault with a cooler thermostat

What a device i started out thinking it was just a gadget but its uses around the house just keep growing if only to check that thermostatically controlled equipment is at the right temperature and double glazing works

Bear in mind it is an infra red reading unit and unless what you are reading is the perfect black body radiator beloved of school science books the reading may not match that of a contact thermometer

The thermometer supplied by vitcas in the oven door is useless as you need to leave the door open when the oven is in use
