Said to make sure you load cd first the instructions ere not real clear and then it said to register it by going online but couldnt get online until the wifi was downloaded then would not go online to register once i had it up and running

Cant get online until you have wifi going so not sure what the deal is there wanting one to register before you get the wifi going

But yes it does put wifi on your computer with the adapter hooked up

The range is not very far on our connection i am assuming

Anyway with this i get a much stronger connection it still does not always perform perfectly but again as i stated earlier we have pretty terrible internet

I have a mini laptop and the wifi card inside the laptop has stopped working so i can only use the ethernet port on my laptop

So far this wifi adapter has worked very good

The wifi adapter came in a small box with a small cd that contains the drivers for the wifi adapter
