Tried to store my cat on the top shelf but i dont think it was designed for cats so be aware of that

I had a similar one but the top shelf was only 12 the width of the other shelves so the top baskets would fall off if anything of slight weight was in them

Also some of the wire on the shelves was slightly bent out of shape but not enough to prevent it from functioning

For the price it isnt a fancy piece but it isnt chintzy

In the assembly process do not tighten the screws all the way until all four racks are placed in the wooden sides
