Pros
These ice balls make it possible to serve a shot or two of whiskey chilled without it becoming progressively watered down. No water involved, which means no diluting or watering down of your beverage. They keep my whisky chilled without diluting it.
The innuendos are endless and the product actually does what it is supposed to. Work well, easy to use, and easy to clean. They also work well for liqueurs.
The stainless steel whisky balls work great. All you need to do is place the food grade stainless steel balls into your glass then pour your whiskey or drink (i prefer to use them with grand marnier) over them.
The stainless metal cubes and these balls cool better and quicker than the soapstone. Cleaning is also about as easy as you can get – rinse and dry. Comes with a little velvet bag and tongs too.
Cons
Ice balls are only slightly bigger than a glass marble. They are very small and don't keep the liquid chilled for long. Although they claim to be solid stainless steel they are not.

These are not going to noticeably cool off a glass of roomtemperature beer or other liquid unless you buy more than two of them

The downside is that you need to plan a few hours in advance to freeze them first

For larger drinks like a glass of beer you should pass because these arent going to do much at all for you

Heres some ballpark numbers for how well these will work for you if you completely freeze the balls first and use both of them two ounces of drink at room temperature will cool down 17°f twelve ounces of drink at room temperature will cool down 3°f four ounces of hot coffee will cool down 20°fthats the end of it unless youd like to know how i came up with those plots andor would like to calculate things yourself

There are two parts to this 1 the temperature drop of your drink due to the internal cores of the balls melting and 2 the temperature drop of your drink due to the drink and balls coming to the same temperature
