Unlike a lot of other clocks in the travel alarm category the ticking noise of the second hand is silent

In a few other cheaper brands the ticking noise of the second hand is ridiculously annoying to the point where you want to smash the clock

The only bad thing i have to say about this little white westclox is it is really hard to change the battery because the compartment is very tight and the battery pushes in too far

Alarm rings on time and i have not experienced the problem a couple of others have written about in that they found a variation in the time the alarm goes off several minutes earlier or later than what they set

Set it carefully and it will ring precisely on time

Dropdead easy to set and turn off impossible to screw up

The only possible problem is that the ticking noise can be too loud since the inner workings seems to be mechanical
