As such access times are very slow when you first access the drives so any menu listdirectory tree is going to take a while to appear on screen

As with the 2tb wd greens these drives are cool and quiet which is always good but they must of course be set to gpt as opposed to mbr in disk management in order for windows to be able to use the full 6tb
