Pros
Vortex has a lifetime warranty. Light gathering is awesome with this scope. Get bullet in a bullet with volquartsen custom 17 wsm at 120.
The viper is terrific for it's reliability and vortex is great for their warranty system. Very affordable. Plus vortex has an awesome warranty policy!
Scope tracks well, around the target. Resetting to zero turrets are simple and easy with no tools needed. Clicks on the turrets are great and spot on.
Currently have this one mounted on a ruger precision rifle. Already stretched out to 1000 yards with my 270 with ease. Not mounted to gun yet.

The glass is fairly clear but not spectacular and doesn’t let enough light in at low level light times
