Pros

Only downer is that my kitchen cabinets have a lip around the bottom that extends 1/2 inch below the cabinet. My blender now fits under my cabinet with the container and lid on.

Will need to continue usaging to determine durability. If it's like what i purchased so far, it’s highly dependable. The reason this is only a 4-star rating is because of the compatibility.

This 48 oz pitcher is fantastic. The blending action is great, i rarely need to use the tamper. Great upgrade from my smaller 32 oz jar.

This vitamix blender is perfect for blending, mixing and chopping. It is a lot easier to scrape out. Utensils reach the bottom to scrape without getting your hands goopy.

The container itself is so clear and not foggy at all like the original. The container comes with a new tamper already. And the cap is gray, not black, so it matches my gray vitamix base.

Cons

The base inside is far too big, the blade is no where near big enough for the jar. Anything that's at the bottom gets stuck flat below the blade so it doesn't get mixed in.

I needed to replace my carafe so went with the small one

I dont experience this shift with the default large container so it felt off

I put off buying the smaller size and made due with the larger pitcher for a long time and wish i would have purchased sooner

The only downside of this container is the cost

I thought price was a little high then i look on vitamix website and it ran a lot more

The price made me a little hesitant but was able to find it on amazon for 111 on sale

Competitiveness

The reason this is only a 4star rating is because of the compatibility

Its in a new vitamix box with all parts including the tamper

Like all vitamix containers its hard to clean under the blades especially if you make something tacky like peanut butter

My explorian e310 came with a 64oz
