Slide selector down with thumb, place thumb near firing button. The flashlight is very bright and helps me navigate uneven terrain so i stay upright.

The led is emitting maybe 10 lumens if even that. The beam is not real bright and does not adjust. They only continue to operate as a flash light and poorly at that.

If you have a spare pocket it’s a perfectly good product for the price just toss the holster in that case
