There was no way that i could get audio out of the tv so i ordered this

I also had to purchase a hdmi coupler because i have more than one hdmi inputs for the cable game system and fire stick and the audio plays for each of them

The only thing that i found is that when you have a power failure and all your tech comes back online no audio is passed through

Its also fairly small so its discrete and hides well

Therefore you lose the apple tvs remote functions for the tv and receiver setting becomes disabled which is pretty annoying
