I went to youtube and had better success but even still it wasnt intuitive that the spines for the soft box had to be set in at an angle i kept putting them in straight and they kept falling through the hole and down into the center of the bulb housing

I dont know why those holes arent enclosed to keep that from happening i cant think of a design reason why theyd need to be open all the way to the center of the housing
