Pros

The beauty of this press is that you don't have to press hard just let the press do its job. Also, smooshes/flattens out easy too. No mess, no cleanup needed.

This 8 inch tortilla press is perfect for us. My wife is from ecuador where they don't make thin mexican style tortillas.

You have no control on the thickness of the tortilla as the lever only allows the operator to press to a certain level and no further. The leverage tab is not tall enough so the leverage is not able to be applied to make truly flat tortillas. This see... Read More

Cast iron presses the dough into the parchment so deeply that it is hard to release them for cooking. What comes out is pita bread, no matter how hard you press.
