The pipe connector for the stair attachment started to leak

If connected to the water tank it leaks water all over the unit

The plastic connector that must be attached to the waste water tank does still allows me to suck up the moisture on the carpet so not all is lost

But this is not how flimsy the connector should be after most properly 810 times of use
