Coming from a manfrotto 055xprob i can say that this is a good tripod
Almost as great as my stolen manfrotto
I bought this in 2018 and use it almost every day for photography

The only reason that i didnt give it 5 stars is because i have one leg that is pretty lose and when i contacted vanguard to see if i could tighten it they told me that i would have to send it in

If you are looking for a lightweight hiking tripod this isnt it unless you are willing to lug some weight

One quibble extending the center post at an angle was difficult at first

Works great but the plastic around the buttons on the legs is fragile

Less than 1 year from purchase with minimal usage and this is completely incapable of holding the lightest camera at any angle
