Similar in design to fsa issue in 1968, except all leather is glossy smooth. Now soaking in ballistol (old school, brown shoes treatment). Case (sheath) nice thick leather. But it feels good in the pocket.

Cons

Had to glue it back on. It was only held in place by a tiny pin. Obviously a knock off.

Buy the ka-bar. Go to ka-bar's official website to buy the real deal. Not a ka-bar knife but a bud-k.

This means the blade has a significant weaknesses where it is abruptly reduced to a 1/2 tang and where pinned to the pommel. The usmc stamp is on the wrong side of the blade.
