I then was able to bolt the pull up bar to the 2x8 in whatever position i wanted

Am now able to add various types of pullups exercises to my weight and cardio schedule

If i were to do this again i’d use a 2x10 so the mounting brackets didn’t overhang the wood at all

I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price
