Pros & Cons

Pros

Works as advertised. Works great, really stabilizes power input to devices. Very happy with the pricing.

Tripp lite protects my computer and emits a very loud beep to alert when there is a power interruption. This has an lcd, has a lot of battery outlets, and you can turn off the alarm.

Easy to set up -- don't have to struggle with installing the battery unlike the equivalent apc ups. Just as good as apc or cyberpower. They protect me from surges and any dirty electrical jolts that come down from my aging power lines.

Many well placed receptacles. Powers cable modem, wifi router, switch, magicjack. Provides a sense of comfort and secutiry for our office workstations.

Cons

Tripp lite ups is not user-replaceable. It does not provide surge protection when plugged into a printer.

Wasted money. What a bunch of bunk. Shouldn't be that sensitive in my humble opinion. Spend the extra money and buy an apc.

Not being allowed to return a defective item is just outright ridiculous. We all understand warranties and why there are limits, but for something to die so close to the warranty limit it would really shine to their customer service.

Quality

Ive purchased serviced and used tripp lite ups for work and the quality is superior to other brands

So far it appears to be a great product

Supposedly there was a cd included in the package with the ups but it was not there and there was no mention of it in the supplied manual

I have had other tripp lite battery ups units have been most satisfied

Competitiveness

Tripp lite has best and highest value ups products

I have purchased another one of these for my pfsense firewall and modem in addition to the original one i purchased for my server

Some of the competitors products are way over priced

Also important that you have only the computer connected to the ups battery outlets for this to work
