The unit is made of sturdy plastic bits but uses metal where it counts mounting rail bolts and turnscrews and soft where it contacts the firearm

I believe it might be useful for bench boresighting at the range once you center the bull in the bore but never as a benchrest for shooting of course

I would have given it all 5 stars if it was at least made of carbon fiber or metal but it is molded plastic

And yes it is made in china for a us company like a lot of things americans buy
