Pros & Cons

Pros

Used to keep our coffee beans in tupperware. Bought two of these, a black one for reg and the green for decaf. The coffee is vacuum sealed and that's what keeps it fresh.

The airscape canister enables you to pump air out of the canister. A full pound, ground, fills right to the top of thecanister. The sealing lid is several inches itself, so the vacuum can still be set.

Cons

It's not resistant at all it broke in 4 days of normal use. Kind of misleading. Wrong color.

Quality

I have two tightvacs that ive had now for several months and im very pleased

Ive had no issues with the valve button and the container itself has proven to be very sturdy

We ordered a replacement lid from the manufacturer but were nonetheless disappointed at the quality of the lid

With the tightvac as the volume of coffee goes down the amount of air you can remove from the canister stays the same

Packaging/appearance

Yes you need googone to remove the awful label glue right on top of the lid

I looked for quite a while at coffee storage options before settling on the tightvac

Competitiveness

Works well for keeping beans fresh and is less expensive than some others on the market

I used this on my philz coffee and it works great i fully endorse it
