The first book machine of death had a wide variety of takes on the idea but this one goes in directions that are totally different and totally unpredictable

Though there are some stories along the same vein as those found in the first book there are also lots that further push the concept including a lot of harder sci fi stories including one about a henchman whos job it is to break the machine
