Easy to follow, not restricting like some others. One down side is that you have to incorporate what you read into your daily life. Easy to understand and follow the guidelines.

My only quibble with this plan is that for me. Save up calorie deficit to offset the splurge. As long as i am willing to shop and chop this is a great plan.

Cons

The book desperately needs a professional editor who understands the concept of cross-indexing. Volumetrics spaghetti bolognese? Not a chance. For some reason, every recipe seems to have some kind of very strong flavor.
