Pros
Clean photography and doable recipes make this book a fun addition to my culinary library. It comes with a bookmarking ribbon and the binding is really high quality. This is my favourite cookbook.
Cons
I was expecting this book to compile the best, detailed recipes of vegetarian * cuisine that do not include, for example, in the recipe for ful mudammas instructions to buy a can of ful. But getting there is not.

Good balance between taste preparation time and healthy ingredients
So far the dishes i’ve made tasted great
My husband is lebanese and says its authentic cuisine with some regional or fusion twist for certain recipes
But keep in mind that recipies are not written too well i think the book would benefit from some editing

Ingredients are not hard to come byyou can order some from penzeys if you cant find them locally but a decent middle eastern deli will probably carry most of them

Reminds me of ottolenghi’s plenty but more focused on lebanese cooking

The menu is overlapping though four different kibbeh recipes four falafel recipes three hummus recipes the baba ganoush recipe is almost identical to the eggplant dip etc
