This series is cutesy and light, but pretty enjoyable. While the concept of the books are similar, the storylines are different in each one. This fits in well with the other books, and i find i'll have to go back and re-read them again.
For me, believability is a hallmark of a great fiction writer. As this series progresses, it is easy to believe that pamela jones is some type of fairy godmother in disguise.

They are used for plot movement so it is not critical to know their story but if you would be bothered by no knowing start there
