While away we drove around a fair bit and the dvd player was being taken off and on a lot but this hasnt changed the performance of it at all

This model has a strap with velcro at each end to grip around the headrest either up and down or around

The difference is that the grips for the kindle fire mount are made to hold a thinner shaped device than this one and it does not have the velcroed tie

If someone found the grips fitted their dvd player they might still find the velcro strip too narrow

You could sew a narrow length of black velcro along side the piece already there
