Pros
Main lcd display is very clear with large in/out characters which can be easily viewed from 3 metres away.
This is a no frills device which is what i wanted.

Cons
Outside sensor/transmitter stops transmitting after 2 to 3 days. Min/max reset is a bit cumbersome, you have to reset the unit. Remote sensor is flaky and unreliable.
Manufacturer's warranty expects me to send it to germany at my expense. A great shame as looks good but not reliable or accurate.

Packaging/appearance
Works well nice knowing what the temperature is outside in the polytunnel without having to run in and out looking at it
Competitiveness
It’s a doddle to set up just follow the destructions which also clearly state that the external sensor is not waterproof
The cheaper competitor i had tried previously didnt have anything like the range it claimed nor did the replacements they sent
