Pros & Cons

Pros

Lakanto powdered sugar replacement with monks fruit and erythritol. Great flavor, fresh, and good amount for the cost. I use it in their protein smoothie recipes.

Terrasoul is ethically sourced. Lots of nutrients & some fiber.

It was packaged well and reseals tightly in the bag. Huge fan. Second time purchasing.

Cons

Product is not returnable. Huge bummer.

Terrasoul cacao tastes terrible. Giving me stomach aches and constipation 2. I am a regular cacao drinker and i am aware that this cacao has somewhat of an abrasive quality to the palate and digestion. This one tasted like suger.

Not impressed with the cocao butter either - seems kind of slimy. The company states that we roast our beans at 113 f for 10 hours. All in all, the result is much less creamy using either water or milk.

It's possible the bag could've been bad or stale. It has a strong, sort of sour or rancid odor. I'm used to opening the package and smelling that sweet smell of cacao, but instead got a * whiff of expired cacao.
