With the vgahdmi adapter that mouse move keyboard press doesnt work
However with the original vga cable when you moved the mouse or pressed a key on the keyboard the display would come out of power save mode

It cleaned up my audio that had a slight buzzing noise when the screen was white or white backgrounds

This is a great gadget if you have a laptop that does not have an hdmi port band you want to show your slides on the big screen that has only hdmi input

I have to manually press the power button on the monitor to get it out of power save hibernation mode

I believe this is oem and you can probably find rebranded ones
