Although with the strap running in the middle of the charger the charger would not lay completely flat and kind of taco inwards slightly which lead to decreased surface area for sun exposure

Michael from suntactics quickly replied that for 15 i could send my charger back them and they would professionally drill and install grommets

A few days later i got the following email from michael stating i just want you to know that we received your panel and after inspection we decided to replace your scharger5 with a new unit

I bought this solar charger to use it on long hiking trips mostly in order to charge my smartphone to use the gps function and read books

It also works when it is somewhat cloudy not direct sunlight but stops charging when the clouds get thicker
