I use it to light the stairway into the basement since it's very dark here. I use this light as an alternative one in my semi truck.

These lights are a great solution for power outages when used with power banks and inexpensive portable solar panels. We use ours with an anker battery pack and the usb plug fits our camping purposes perfectly. Used it during a 5 day loss of power.

Cons

It is not clear at all that the ones currently being sold are not daisy chain-able. It is all plastic, including the heat sink (which is not a heat sink because it is not even needed) it generates no appreciable heat.
