Pros
The blanket is super soft and feels pleasantly thick. I enjoy using it even when it is not plugged in. It is so soft and plush!
It heats quickly and evenly. It heats up quickly and is so nice to curl up on the couch with.
The blanket gets fairly warm on the hottest setting, but not hot enough to be dangerous. Easy to adjust the setting accidentally in your sleep because of cord placement.
Cons
The 100% polyester fabric is really cheap and it pills like crazy and leaves lint fuzz everywhere. The fabric is made from toxic polyester (esters of dihydric alcohol and terpthalic acid) that off-gas toxic chemicals every time it is heated.
The blanket supposedly comes with a 5 year limited warranty. A warranty is only good if the company is reputable enough to be able to handle it.
