Pros & Cons

Pros

They take paint well and have a traditonal watercolor texture to them. It holds pigment decently on the rough side. Can use acrylic, watercolor, gouache, etc.

Sturdy 140lb weight watercolor paper. They are thicker and handle the watercolors very well, keeping the paper from warping really bad.

Cons

This package is clearly labeled incorrectly. I am terribly disappointed with strathmore quality control.

The texture is so cheap, even the lightest wash almost destroys the card. It doesn't absorb water, the water just floats until it's murky. Not at all like the texture watercolor paper normally has.

The paper rolls up and is awful. A block of cards and envelopes are delicate and need to be securely packaged. This box of 100 has paper akin to canson xl student paper - not nice like it used to be.

I do like that amazon is using less packaging but these arrived with out any packaging at all and the corners were bent

I have sometimes glued it to a 5x7” watercolor weight greeting card and extended my design

At almost 5x7 these watercolor cards are a decent size
