Make sure that the 2 small metal pins are submerged in the liquid or the device will not work after pushing the o button

You can see the glass uv transmitting tube turn to a blue green color in operation so you know its working

The only downside is tha fact it will only fit a nalgene size water bottle and doesnt have adapters to fit slightly different bottle sizes
