The brown rice cooked by this item is the best. Subjectivity is critical for a wannabe cook. Also, it works as a rice cooker. Bakes the perfect loaf.

The pot retains heat very well. I like the fact that it has a glass lid and the interior of the pot is black. This pot also works better on electric stoves than others i have.

There was a 1 1/2 x 1 inch section next to the handle where there was no enamel. Used only a few times, and the bottom sticks and burns. Is this an defective item?

It's too expensive to be disposable. Unless you want to throw your money away on something that looks * after a short time.
