I bought this cable so i could watch amazon prime movies in hd on my desktop monitor a dell ultrasharp 24 u2412m connected via this hdcp compliant cable the monitor and graphics card already were hdcp compliant hardware

After installing at first i still could not see the videos in hd though both then i thought the reason might have not been in the hardware but rather in the setup

Another monitor this one non hdcp compliant was connected to the graphics card simultaneously

So if your intentions to buy this cable are the same remember you can only have one monitor connected at the same time
