If you dont have both hinges in and you force it shut then yes it would likely break but thats not normal use

The locks are a nice touch although i would not expect the case to stop any one getting in with a screw driver its not that type of case

Having not used specific pedal board tape before first pedal board the tape pulls off the back of the pedals and stays stuck to the board if you try to pull a pedal up after sticking it down

Ill see how it goes but i am using the included tape so far if you want to invest along with purchasing i cant see it hurting

I havent even bothered to try to repair the board from behind as its still structurally fine

Just make sure you give the tape adhesive a good 24 hours to cure before applying load to it e
