We havent had to use this service yet so we cant comment on that but we did purchase it for our camera and we felt it was a great deal for a 2 year service

I sent the camera in to the manufacturer and was advised the damaged was not covered by the manufacturers warranty

Square trade reimbursed be for the cost of the repairs so i wasnt required to pay double shipping to send it in to one of square trades authorized repair locations

Have not yet had to use this insurance but given the experience with the covered camera so far im guessing this inexpensive insurance will pay for itself
