Pros
Speed queen is a top-loading washing machine. It is very quiet and has a swish, swish sound.
You bet it is. This thing is the bomb. I suspect this speed queen will outlast me. It comes with a manual.
Cons
There must be issues with a sensor in this model. And it’s difficult to figure out how to restart it. When the lid doesn't lock, the machine doesn't run.
The 2018 has been drastically changed internally. May want to google that. General consensus is that these new units are inferior.
It only does washers and dryers and is made in america. The agitator does not go back and forth, it just swishes the clothes. It does not do half the job as my old used machine that stayed with the house when we sold.

Price
At first i thought the price was really high but it is a great heavy duty washing machine
If the price were a bit lower i would have given it 5 stars
Price is a bit high hold your nose when you press proceed to checkout and i guarantee you will not be disappointed
Shipping
This unit came on a delivery truck the driver delivered to the garage and removed the large and small shipping devices
Packaging/appearance
If i didnt leave the door open the mold smell appeared within a day
Competitiveness
I would not try to mop my floors with 8oz of water i use a whole bucket
Mostly front loaders from korea at the bigbox stores with lots of electronic toys on them even wifi

The instructions state that it is underneath the agitator cap but mine didnt have one

When delivered the delivery guy told me if they are ever moved you have to tilt the back of the machine up and release so it self levels itself again

The downside to one of these is that they do indeed consume more water

That said in talking to our last repair person they recommended running the he machines with an extra rinse cycle to help to keep them from getting that musty smell that we inevitably get with the he machines we always left them open of course for air circulation but it never failed that after awhile the smell would be there
