Sometimes the music is choppy but it is manageable. It definitely amplifies the sound of my tunes. Increases volume of sounds from youtube, pandora, etc.
It has a grippy texture so it doesn't slip out of my hands. It removes quickly and smoothly from a bluejean pocket. There are some small bits on the corners that have a rubbery feel.
Speck claims the case boosts midrange frequencies. The case definitely amplifies the sound, which i love. The sound amplification really works.
Cons
This case is painfully poorly designed for pragmatic, daily use. These kinds of issues are (frankly) inexcusable.
The sound is tinny and gets muddled with complex music. The case doesn't amplify the sound to over two times louder as claimed. The sound isn't clearer either.
