It was pretty grueling especially the end when you screw in dozens of screws to secure the platform panels to the top of the frame they are not predrilled and most would not easily go down all the way and be flush

The bed came and at the very end when you place the boards on the base to make the surface for the mattress support i found 4 boards damaged 2 b surface boards corners damaged 1 b2 surface board corner damaged 1 s drawer boardcracked

You had to try and match up each item with a picture in the manual and there is a lot of hardware

The the manual which had good pictures had zero written words to describe how to assemble the bed frame
