Pros & Cons
Pros
Petroleates provide slightly better lubrication, but their real edge is that they don't dry out. This remains fluid much longer than just water or kitchen oil. This solution is equally effective on both stone and better than water on diamond.
Cleaning helps break in tools and helps dirt and grime out. Top handle lock is chinsy but the knife locks into the shield.
Cons
I am not a professional knife sharpener. Would not use this stuff. Looks like red colored water and in no way resembles honing oil. Amp; again this is just me personally.
